SATURDAY-JUNE 16th @ 2 pm @ the EGYPTIAN THEATER

Take a day to take your taste buds back to the days of  classic Hollywood restaurants of the 1920′s & 1930′s like Melody Lane, Musso’s, and the Pig ‘N Whistle with author of “Pig ‘N Whistle”  Veronica Gelakoska, and Los Angeles magazines Chris Nichols.

They’ll be doing at presentation on classic eateries, and then enjoy a tale of building a classic eatery  with everyone’s favorite restauranteur , Joan Crawford in “Mildred Pierce”.We will get it all  started at the Egyptian Theater this Saturday, June 16th @ 2pm with Veronica signing her book, “Pig ‘N Whistle”, and the presentation, then the film  starts at 3 pm. I’m told there will be delicious pie for sale, and you know you don’t want to miss Joan and pie!

This event is co-sponsored by the American Cinematheque & the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles. Come on down, work up an appetite and enjoy a great movie and a great piece of pie.
