Sunday, September 23rd @ 7:30 pm-AERO THEATER in Santa Monica

Live Talks Los Angeles has brought Larry Edmunds Bookshop on board for a night with the main Fugee himself ,Wyclef Jean. Wyclef will be signing his new and I mean brand new book, “Purpose-An Immigrant’s Story” at the Aero Theater next Sunday, September 23rd at 7:30 p.m. Wyclef will spend the evening in conversation with LA Times & Hero Complex’s own Geoff Boucher, and then treat the crowd to an acoustic performance as well! Wyclef’s story takes him from the slums of Haiti, to the mean streets of Newark & Brooklyn where he tries to assimilate and finds his greatest success through music. Only problem is his pastor father doesn’t exactly approve, and the one thing he finds solace in, becomes a source of contention between them.

It is also the story of the Fugees ,  and his life in music as a performer & producer with the Grammy award winning group, and his efforts as a solo artist as well. His book also talks about his efforts to help Haiti after the devasting earthquake and his aspiring political ambitions there as well. A story of hope and overcoming the odds, a story of music, including some we’ll hear live, and a story of “Purpose”, join us for this special night with Wyclef Jean.

Ticket information available at LiveTalksLA.org, including a V.I.P. reception, or packages with tickets & books. If you’d just like a book, well I hope you know that’s what we do. Let us know how you’d like it signed, and we’ll do the rest. Thank you for your business and we hope to see you at one of our events soon, we know there’s one out there for you!
