Bond, James Bond ! All 22 films @ the American Cinematheque! 2 Book signings!

Friday, June 8th @ 6:30 p.m. @ the EGYPTIAN THEATRE

Sunday, June 17th @ 6:30 p.m. @ the AERO THEATRE

It’s been 50 years since Ian Flemings 007 hit the big screen with Sean Connery , and the American Cinematheque is ready to celebrate this milestone by showing all 22 films at either the Egyptian Theater or the Aero Theater throughout the month of June.

Larry Edmunds Bookshop loves a good martini , a good movie and always a good book, so we will be there opening night at the EGYPTIAN THEATER with author Bill Desowitz signing his new book, “James Bond Unmasked”  in the lobby before the 007 double bill, “Dr. No” & “From Russia With Love”. The book will be a great companion to seeing all the Bond movies on the big screen, the way they’ were meant to be seen.

Bill has interviews with all 6 Bonds in his book , so we’ll mix it up with a Timothy Dalton night at the AERO THEATER on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17th before a double bill of,  ”The Living Daylights” & “Licence to Kill”.

Book signings will be at 6:30 p.m. both evenings. We hope to see you for some of the intrigue, the mystery, the  classic villains and of course the Bond girls.
